Changing Seasons

With the cold weather approaching its time to fill those Bird Dispensers . Our little friends really enjoy the fat balls of seed , there are many videos on YouTube telling you how to make the mix . Remember to put fresh water out too , if your water bath is frozen break it up so the animals can drink.

Yesterday we saw our skies turn Orange / Pink it turns out that

Hurricane Ophelia brings Surreal skies over UK (Sahara sand in sky) it was really unusual .

Collecting Passions

My passion for watches has grown over the years . Trawling the auction sites for the piece that draws me in with its style, movement and age . I have watches from the 1940s to the present , military watches , pilot watches , quartz , automatic and manual . Each piece has its own story which is what I love about collecting , imagining the adventures the watches have had over the years . Collecting is a never ending spiral of selling and buying , at the moment I have 26 watches way too many to wear on a daily basis but swapping them during the day gives me great pleasure . One day I hope to get a grail watch of mine .

Autumn Arrives

The changing seasons is upon us. Trees leaves are turning , nights draw in sooner and a chill is in the air . Time to fetch out those warm boots and coats in anticipation of the coming weather. The colours really pop and give us umpteen opportunity to photograph . Explore your local parks and gardens where you can absorb all this technocolour.

Whats been going on

Well its been awhile , I've been away due to life passing us by . I am now contributing to my son James itskibblewatches.co.uk website/Blog where we talk about and sell watches . Its a passion of mine and collecting watches is a wonderful hobby . I had a short break in Hemsby in Norfolk where I saw wild seals on Horsey Gap which was a wonderful experience and I would recommend anyone going there . We have planned a trip to QP Salon watch exhibition in Nov and I can't wait to go there and meet some amazing people .
