Exotic Visitors

At the Weir we have many birds that migrate to the UK from Africa , the Little Egret is one such bird http://www.rspb.org.uk/discoverandenjoynature/discoverandlearn/birdguide/name/l/littleegret/index.aspx . They feed on the copious amounts of fish found at the Weir . We have had up to 7 birds fishing at one time , which is an amazing site . Their beautiful plumage in pure white strikes contrast to the green foliage surrounding the Weir. On this occasion we had 4 visit but only 2 came close enough to photograph . Set up was  Nikon 7000 , Tamron 70-300 mm , F5.6 , Shutter 1/500 ,
